PAWS has several adult dogs that are in need of foster homes. While they are all receiving excellent care, they all deserve and need the experience of living in a home environment with someone that will devote time to working with them to improve their chances of adoption. ALL of these dogs are currently in boarding. If you are interested in fostering any of these very deserving dogs please fill out a foster application or send us an email with any questions. If you're unable to foster, please consider sponsoring one.
Blizzard has been with us since 2012 and is now 5 years old. He's currently in training to help build his confidence. He is great with other dogs but can be leary of people he doesn't know. He is great with people once he gets to know them. He has a lot of insecurities and is working towards becoming a well adjusted, confident dog.
Brady came to PAWS in 2012. Although Brady will need to be with a dog savvy human, he is good with cats, walks well on the leash, crate trained and travels perfect in the car. Although he is dog social, he is picky when making new canine friends so would do best in a home with no other dogs. Brady can be reserved when meeting new people but warms up very quickly and will make a very loyal, committed companion. Brady currently resides at the PAWS Farm.
Dakota came to us in June 2014; she is now approximately 3 years old. Dakota is a little dog with a big personality! She's very petite, weighing around 30 pounds. She needs someone willing to teach her how to positively interact with other dogs to help build her social skills.
This is Findley. He came to us last summer with an embedded collar and is wasn't long after that that he was diagnosed with babesiosis, which causes anemia. His condition has proven very difficult to treat but after MANY, MANY months he has finally tested negative!!! He is a very good boy, friendly and happy. Please consider fostering Findley. Findley has been in boarding for many months.
Sunday came to us this past fall and is approximately 1.5 years old. She is like a giant puppy! She is an energetic girl that loves people. She needs someone that can give her proper exercise, teach her some manners, and show her what it's like to live in a house. She also needs to be shown how to properly socialize with other dogs as she tends to get over-excited.
Tino came to us in 2014 and is approximately 3 years old. He is a smart, active guy that needs help with his socialization skills. He can do well with medium to large dogs. He needs someone that will provide proper mental stimulation and exercise.
Kirk is a big guy that has been with us for about a year and a half. He has a lot of energy so would do good in an active home. He is also very smart and does best when he has some sort of mental stimulation.
Blue is approximately 4 years old. He is a former chained PIP dog that was surrendered. He is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. Blue is a very smart and athletic dog so keeping him calm during treatment can be a challenge at times. He loves to settle down in his crate. He really needs a foster home to show him what living in a home is all about. Blue is currently boarded.
Georgia is a stray that PIP took in. She is a very sweet, goofy girl that needs help meeting new people and experiencing new situations. Georgia is currently boarded.
